We used to go to hot black coffee on our weekends when they were in Bloor West village. But since they've left, we've definitely missed them. The staff and owner are awesome and friendly. The coffee is consistently amazing. I recently tried their egg and cheese on sourdough sandwich and it was great. The awesome thing is that all the ingredients are sourced locally (from Ontario farmers) and the bread is made in house! 10/10 recommend this cafe.
I absolutely LOVE this place! I recently started a new job in the area and I discovered Hot Black Coffee. You’re greeted immediately with a good morning & hello, the food is delicious (I recommend the beet chocolate loaf and egg toast) and the vibe is warm, cozy and clean! Thank you for an amazing experience every time!! ☕️
I love this place. Located on Queen At W. The coffee selections are fantastic with very knowledgeable. It's a laid back environment with a communal table and single seats at the front window. The raspberry wheel cookie is a must have. Also a selection of quick and satisfying baked goods and sandwiches.
HOTBLACK COFFEE is an absolute gem in Toronto! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm welcome and the friendliest host who makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. Their coffee is top-notch — rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I love that they use local products, which makes everything taste fresh and authentic. On top of the amazing beverages, they also offer delicious meals and homemade biscuits and cakes that pairs perfectly with your drink. The service is genuinely kind and thoughtful — you can tell they really care about their customers. A sweet and gentle vibe all around. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great coffee, tasty food, and a welcoming experience in the city!
Good coffee but bad services for the price. Sandwiches are served cold (was told it is supposed to be eaten like that; didn't like it). Not great for long sitting as the seats doesn't have a back. Coffee quantity was also very less.
