My husband and I stopped into Ivy Coffee Shop and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a cafe! The owner is very kind and made us feel very welcomed! The service was impeccable and you can tell they really care about the craft of coffee! We got the strawberry matcha cold foam and an iced biscoff latte along with a few baked goods and everything was deliciously handcrafted! They also have really high quality merch and other items to purchase! I highly recommend stopping here if you’re looking for cute vibes, great customer service, and yummy drinks! This was the best way to start our trip in Toronto!

I live in the area and came to check out this café after coming across them on socials. It's nestled along Harbourfront, just across Love Park. I had their iced strawberry matcha latte and brownie. Both very good and delicious. It was a beautiful day to walk my dog at Love Park and stop by for a drink. The café itself is on the smaller side with only a few seats available inside with a small table along the wall. It is definitely more of a grab-and-go place. I look forward to trying out their other drinks soon. I will definitely be back!

A small unassuming shop but serving delicious coffee. The seating options are limited to about 8-12 people. We were here on Christmas Eve, so it was a little chilly to be outside. But in the warmer weather this is a prime spot located across from a park where one could enjoy the sun and a really good coffee. They served the standard coffee choices of a choice coffee spot. They also offered seasonal specialty coffees. We also enjoyed a very delicious pistachio croissant. There were people passing through the shop picking up coffee. It is an obvious favorite local spot. As I am here for work frequently I will certainly be back.

Most people find pearls in the ocean… I found one by the lake. Tucked along Toronto’s Harbourfront, Ivy Coffee Shop is a hidden spot with European charm, chic aesthetics, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer than planned. It’s the kind of café that feels both cozy and elevated, where every detail is crafted with thought. The almond croissant was a standout — golden and flaky on the outside, with layers that broke apart beautifully at every bite. Inside, the soft almond filling added just enough sweetness without overpowering, making it the perfect companion to a good latte. It felt like something straight out of a Parisian café, but right here by Lake Ontario. However, the drinks were where it became interesting. While they offer all the classic coffees, it’s their specialty lattes that set them apart. The ube latte with cold foam and an espresso shot struck the perfect balance — smooth, creamy, and lightly sweet, with a caffeine kick that made it ideal for anyone settling in for a late-night grind. The strawberry matcha cold foam brought something entirely different to the table: earthy matcha rounded out with a fruity lift, a drink that was playful yet balanced and refreshing to the last sip. Both showed off the café’s knack for innovation and creativity. Beyond the menu, Ivy leans into lifestyle with its own merch line: everything from sweaters and t-shirts to mugs, teacups, and pins. It adds a layer of personality and makes the brand feel like something you can take with you, long after the last sip of your drink. Between the pastries, the inventive drinks, and the Italian gelato and quiches also on offer, Ivy. Coffee Shop felt like a European escape on the edge of Lake Ontario. Whether starting the day with a lakeside walk or winding down in the evening, it’s the kind of hidden pearl you’ll be glad you discovered. 🌊☕️ To hear more about this review, follow us @eatinontario on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, & Facebook. ✨🤩🙏

I live nearby and found myself coming back to this cafe whenever I get the chance. I especially love their strawberry matcha foam latte and black sesame hojicha latte which are both so tasty! Not a huge fan of the ube latte though. They also use oat milk as default I think. Love them!
