A true Ossington original. Jimmy's has a loyal following for good reason -- the coffee is excellent and the place feels genuinely alive.

There are soooo many coffee shops in this area, so why go to Jimmy's? Yes, they have a cozy back area for those who need a quiet place to work. But, everyone really goes because of the staff - one of kindest and most genuine teams on the Oz strip.
I got the matcha, but it mostly tasted like milk. The barista didn’t seem very attentive even though it wasn’t busy, and they didn’t call us when our coffee was ready — if we had to wait, they should’ve at least told us. Wouldn’t really recommend this place, though the muffin was actually pretty good.
I've been to several outlets around the city and always had a good experience. Staff have been excellent, friendly and efficient. I enjoy their brewed coffee and espresso based drinks. Very consistent high quality over time and between locations. They've done a great job of making a slightly rustic decor and welcoming atmosphere in the 3 or 4 locations I've visited. Reasonable prices. I really recommend Jimmy's.
Great atmosphere, Americano was good, cookie was good... I understand younger staff sometimes have to be reminded, for the 30 seconds we are communicating, we have your attention, we don't feel like we are interrupting your fellow staff conversation. Your back "patio" is terrible. Even if its just visual, time of year is still no excuse, small amount of time for it to look orderly at the least. Is it not an opportunity for an extension of the atmosphere? Its a focal point even just glancing back, aside from sitting beside it.
LOVE love love this place! The vibe: amazing. The coffee selections unique and yet traditional. The baked goods: delicious and very fresh! Landed here with a friend from the neighbourhood and I was the total-tourist, drinking it all in (see what I did there?: "drinking" ... coffee ... ). I love the decor and just wish they'd had a branded-travel-coffee-cup: would have totally bought that as a memento of the time. Good Job Jimmy
