A Chinatown cafe with Korean-inspired touches and a thoughtful approach to both coffee and the space itself. Worth a detour.

It’s surprisingly hard to find a café that’s open past 5pm, still serves caffeinated drinks and desserts, and has enough space to sit comfortably with a date or friends. That’s why I was so happy to discover this place—it checks all the boxes. You don’t realize how big it is until you head upstairs. The second floor runs almost the entire length of the building, so there’s plenty of seating, which makes it great for longer catch-ups or relaxed evenings. They offer a wide variety of hot and cold coffee drinks, and even though we went later in the evening, there were still a few pastries available, along with bingsoo, which was a nice surprise. The crowd was a mix of people working on laptops, couples on dates, small meetings, and others stopping in for a coffee or dessert after dinner. Service is simple and efficient—you place your order, receive a buzzer, and when it vibrates you pick up your drinks and desserts at the counter. Overall, it’s a great late-night café option with lots of space and a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a good spot if you’re looking for coffee and dessert in the evening.

Cute cafe that’s light and airy, has lots of seating and interesting drinks! I’ve tried the iced einspanner and sweet corn latte here. Both good but neither stood out. The Einspanner is a nice and strong coffee so I’d recommend that on if you’re after caffeine. However, I think their matcha drinks are superb!!! The blueberry, strawberry and banana matcha drinks were all amazing 😻

The cafe is bigger on the inside than I expected, with plenty of space. I noticed a lot of people studying or working on their laptops. The Basque cheesecake was okay, but nothing special (tastes like what you'd get at a store). Overall, a good spot if you need a place to sit, but the food is average.

We stopped by Project Seoul on Spadina and tried the strawberry matcha and lavender matcha, and both were so good! The drinks were super aesthetic — the kind you have to take a photo of — and the flavours were really well-balanced. The strawberry matcha was refreshing and slightly sweet, with that perfect mix of fruity and earthy matcha taste. The lavender matcha, on the other hand, was smooth, floral, and calming — such a nice twist on the usual matcha latte. You can tell they use good-quality matcha and put care into how they make everything. The café itself is really cute and cozy, with clean minimalist décor and that soft K-café vibe. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere made it such a relaxing stop. Definitely one of my favourite matcha spots in Toronto so far — can’t wait to go back and try more flavours! 🍓💜🍵

I loooove this place. As many other reviews say, it’s a very popular place to study. There are a lot of places to sit, but a limited amount of chargers. They also have a time limit on the weekends I believe for how long you can stay seated. It’s good for both solo studying as well as with friends. But, as a popular spot, it fills up in the afternoon, so get there early, especially for more than 2 people! They also have a pretty strict no outside drinks/food, even if you buy something from there, so be careful about that. I don’t think anywhere else does the Matcha like they do. They create a foam using the Matcha, which eventually blends into the drink. It’s extremely tasty and feels light. I normally go with the mango Matcha, I highly recommend it! Their cakes are soft and tasty as well, I recommend the blueberry one. I’ll definitely be back- thank you for having me! :)
