Quiet in name, not in quality. Shy Coffee on Queen West makes a strong case for itself with a focused menu and well-sourced beans.

Went here yesterday and it was a cute little coffee shop. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and my latte came to around $8. Menu is simple selection of baked goods. I sat outside on their patio with my coloring book, and it was a nice, relaxing spot to spend some time. A cozy place I’d go back to.
Super cute place. I enjoyed sipping on my latte and eating a muffin when I was there. This place has been on my to go list and its nice I finally went.
Although I liked the ambience of the place and presentation of the coffee, it just didn't live up to appearances. Place was decently clean and presentable. Looks like a nice hangout place. Their teas were very refreshing. Service was prompt and efficient.
This place advertises as being “dog friendly” online (you can see the dogs posted inside their store on their social media) but they kicked my friend and I out after we ordered our food and drinks. We didn’t have this issue in any other coffee shop in Toronto. No behavioral issues from our dogs either… so they wanted our business and then decided to kick us out. Food and drinks were mid at best. Try somewhere else in Toronto for coffee because this place isn’t it.
This coffee shop is beautifully designed and has Greta ambience. The carrot & oat muffin is good especially warmed up. Drip coffee was good as well. The barista was super friendly!
