Varda Café has become my go-to spot whenever I need a peaceful corner in the hustle of downtown. Whether to work from here, enjoy a book, or just have an unhurried conversation, this place is one that I count on to, every single time. It’s calm, quiet, and thoughtfully designed for people who appreciate a slower pace, culture and art. Also, coffee here is excellent and freshly brewed everyday. And the staff are friendly and accommodating without being intrusive, which only adds to the relaxed vibe. If you’re looking for a place to work-from-café, write in your journal, or just catch up on life with someone special, I highly recommend Varda Café. Toronto needs more spots like this!

Loved my time at Varda! It has the relaxed, chill vibe of a coffee shop, where you order at the front, combined with the upscale interior of a cocktail lounge. The space is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning views and a great ambiance! The food is also reasonably priced! I had the ham and cheese croissant, which was good, though the server mentioned they couldn’t heat it. However, the muffaletta was incredible—so flavorful, delicious, and surprisingly filling. The chips paired perfectly with it! Would definitely go back and highly recommend Varda for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere with great food and drinks at a reasonable price!

Lovely cafe in the Tiff Lightbox. Great ambiance. Good espresso. Good for a chill lounging on a slow weekend morning.

The atmosphere is what you can expect from the photos. I tried the Ginger N Fred mocktail and it was a 10/10. The price of the items on the menu are quite pricey for what it is but the vibe in varda is great! I would definitely keep coming back here.

This lounge bar is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the night. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with stylish interiors, comfortable seating, and lighting that sets the mood without being overwhelming. CN tower through the windows looks magical.
