ZAZA Espresso Bar

Yorkville · $$

A Yorkville espresso bar that punches above its size. ZAZA is compact, quick, and makes a notably good cortado.

ZAZA Espresso Bar is a nice option for a quick snack stop. They have a good variety of flavours. I got 2 scoops, mango and watermelon. The mango gelato was my favourite as it had a creamy texture and sweet taste. The watermelon on the other hand wasn’t really my cup of tea, since I found the taste similar to a jolly rancher. The interior was small but spacious, and it has 2 entrances/exits, so it doesn’t really feel crowded. The service was quick and clean, but the staff had a cold and rushed attitude, even though it wasn’t busy.

A good spot in Yorkville to have a coffee break. Great menu with hot and cold drinks. The pastries look potent and deadly 😁😍. Plenty of seats inside or outside. On a good day, it's ideal to chill and fun to people watch. Good tea selection and the staff happily refills hot water anytime. Fair price for Yorkville.

The next stop on my Yorkville coffee tour was Zaza. What I can say is that the cappuccino was prepared perfectly – the flavor of the coffee was much better here compared to Coco. The staff this time wasn’t as friendly with me, but to be fair it was a very busy period, so I can understand. I asked quite a lot of questions, and they answered them easily, though a bit rushed – it felt like they were just trying to serve as many people as possible. In summary: the taste of the coffee was excellent, and the cappuccino foam was perfect. The interaction with the staff was okay but slightly lacking warmth. Overall, I would also give 3 out of 5 stars to Zaza.

**Zaza Cafe - Cumberland, Toronto** I visited Zaza Cafe last week and had a great experience! I tried their latte, which was delicious, and the pistachio loaf bar was equally good. The vibe of the cafe is amazing – it’s a nice, cute spot with a lot of charm. It was pretty busy when I went, so it was hard to find a seat inside, but they do have a little patio, which is a nice alternative. If you're in the area and looking for a cozy place to grab a coffee, Zaza is definitely worth checking out!

I have walked by this place numerous times but never had tried it until today. It was about half full when I arrived and I was second in line. Only 1 server but she was friendly and efficient. My Americano was very good. I added a blueberry scone and it was fresh tasting and very light. I kind of prefer a more sense scone but it was very good nonetheless. The atmosphere is quite good and not too loud. #coffee #Yorkville #cafe
